R U OK DAY

R U OK? Day at The Point

Yesterday our club came together to mark R U OK? Day — and what a meaningful day it was. Big thank you to the bowling ladies for putting on a beautiful morning tea.

We were joined by the Orana group Wrap with Love, who brought warmth and connection to the occasion.

We were also proud to welcome community partners who shared valuable information and support:
Gymea Community Aid & Information Service (GCAIS) — Karen, Lou & Rita
Activus Transport — Pam
NSW Services — Lara

Their presence was greatly appreciated by our members, who took the opportunity to learn more about the services available in our community.
Throughout the day we enjoyed conversations with our club patrons, handed out lucky door prizes, and most importantly — we spent time connecting, checking in with each other, and having fun.

R U OK? Day is a vital reminder of the importance of mental health and the power of a simple conversation. Yesterday showed how our club can be a space for care, connection, and support.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed — together, we made it a day that truly mattered.
